Prof Dr med Karl-Heinz Broer

After studying medicine in Berlin, Innsbruck and Münster, Prof Broer completed his specialist training at the University Women's Clinic in Cologne. During his time as Chief Physician at the Women's Clinic of the General Hospital Hagen/Westphalia, Academic Teaching Hospital of the University of Essen, and subsequently at the Women's Clinic of the Cologne-Porz Hospital, Academic Teaching Hospital of the University of Cologne, he was appointed Apl. Professor of Gynaecology at the University of Cologne in 1990. In 2004, the Centre for Gynaecology was opened at the MediaPark Clinic, followed by the founding of the Centre for Gynaecology in Cologne.

Throughout his career, Prof. Broer has devoted himself to intensive research and teaching activities in the fields of gynaecology, endocrinology, reproductive medicine and obstetrics, which are reflected in the publication of over 80 scientific papers in high-ranking specialist journals as well as numerous national and international lectures. Prof. Broer is a member of recognised medical societies and scientific committees.
