Lipoedema information day in Berlin/Potsdam

On Saturday, 17 May 2025, a lipoedema information event for patients and interested parties took place at the LIPOhelp® Berlin/Potsdam site at the Sanssouci Clinic. The aim of the event was to raise awareness of the often misunderstood disease lipoedema, to impart knowledge and to offer those affected a platform for information and exchange.

During the event, our lipoedema experts Dr M. Scholten, Prof. Dr Niclas Broer and Prof. Dr Paul Heidekrüger provided comprehensive information about lipoedema. The experienced specialists in plastic and aesthetic surgery explained the basics of the disease, discussed the importance of early diagnosis and presented various conservative and surgical treatment options.

Another focal point was the presentation by our LIPOhelp® coach Mellani on the topic of „Living lighter with lipoedema - nutrition as the key to greater well-being“. The participants were given practical insights into how nutrition and individual everyday habits can have a positive influence on wellbeing and support the management of the condition.

In addition to expert information, the event also provided space for personal discussions, questions and dialogue between those affected. We would like to thank all participants for their great interest and the successful morning together in Potsdam.
